Advanced Survey Options

The default version of the quiz is set so that when somebody takes your quiz, you do not get a copy of that email. 

You have a option by entering in the BCC field your address and then OQG will sent to that email address ALL the emails your quiz takers will have got.

This is marketing intelligence is like pure gold.

The kind of information you can observe there about your customers is priceless.  Not only that you get their email address, but if you set the quiz in a smart way you also know what they are thinking, what problems they have and so you can offer the exact solution.

We took this functionality a bit further and allow the quiz to be smart.  By just ticking one checkbox, you will get emails ONLY when a quiz taker has filled in some text in the text boxes for free input.  

In this way you get a copy of the quiz questions/answers/interpretations the quiz taker has selected only when they wrote some specific/unique answers, not the predefined by you. 

This helps in reducing the number of emails you get so only those that you potentially need to have some customized answer or contact them personally back will be send to the email address of your choice.

What Will Your Website Visitors Experience?

As far as your visitors there is no difference when taking your survey. The only thing will be that you can contact them personally and individually afterwards if they have placed questions in the input text box of your survey.

Configure OQG to Send You Email Only When Personalized Reply Is Needed

The first thing you need to do is to make sure you set your OQG to create a survey landing page. If you have not done that yet, you can do it here: Tutorial 7 : Create a Survey with OQG.

Then there is only one mouse click that is required. Go in your OQG Admin Dashboard at "Step 1.3 Email Personalization" and follow the instruction below:

Insert an email in the field BCC email address, and then chose from the drop-down list "Send only if the quiz taker filled in any of the text boxes.", or "Always send a copy of the analysis to the BCC address."

You are done, now you will get a copy of the email your quiz visitors will get, with their name, email and quiz questions/answers/interpretations.
