Create PDF analysis with Optin Quiz Generator
This page talks about how you can have Optin Quiz Generator create PDF versions of the analysis and send it over to your prospects for you.
Here is the flow your website visitors will experience
- They will get to your quiz page and take the quiz.
- Put their name and email
- Get the analysis either via email or in the browser, but now in PDF format.
How to configure that?
The actions to achieve this are very simple. Just see the explanation below.
1 - Step One: How to setup PDF creation
Go to "Step 3.2: Quiz Analysis" of your OQG Admin Dashboard. Then you will see a check box: "Create analysis as PDF"
Set all the details
When you tick that check box the following elements will be displayed:
- Analysis PDF file name (without the .pdf extension): It will be name the PDF analysis file will have
- Email Body: It will be text in the email send where the analysis is attached as PDF. This email is different then the one where the analysis is sent within the email; because here the analysis is attached as PDF file. As content you can place whatever you want in that text box
Note that both of these elements can be customized with the existing tags that you can use along any page of the quiz:
- <quiztakername></quiztakername>which dynamically will be replaced with the name of the person that takes the quiz
- <quiztakeremail></quiztakeremail> which dynamically will be replaced with the email of the person that took that quiz

As an example for the points above. Let's say the file name has the following format: The-Quiz-Analysis-for-<quiztakername></quiztakername>-sendto-<quiztakeremail></quiztakeremail>. When the person John with email John@email.com takes the quiz, the email he will receive based on the screenshot below will be:
Dear John,
Find the analysis attached now.
Enjoy reading it,
Valentin
and the file attached to that email will have the name: The-Quiz-Analysis-for-John-sendto-John@email.com.pdf.
Sometimes you may need to put </br> between the lines of the email body for the formatting to look well when using text type of email. If you use the built in editor, you can format it easily using the WYSWYG editor.
2 - Step Two: Chose how to deliver the analysis
Go to the "Step 3.3: Quiz Analysis Options" of your OQG admin dashboard. Then you can select how the analysis will be delivered:
- Send via email only: the analysis will be sent as PDF via email and the text from section 3.2 will be used as email body;
- Display in the browser: When the quiz taker reaches the confirmed page be it simple or viral will also be prompted to open (or save); depending on the browser it uses IE, FireFox, etc; the PDF analysis;
- Send via email and display in the browser: When the quiz taker reaches the confirmed page be it simple or viral will also be prompted to open (or save); depending on the browser it uses IE, FireFox, etc; the PDF analysis + will also send the analysis via email;
- No analysis: no analysis will be sent
3 - Step Three: Save the Quiz
Use the buttons below depending of your desired choice

If the Checkbox "Validate quiz completeness before saving" is ticked then the mandatory elements for a quiz to work properly will be checked, before saving. If they are missing or wrongly set, an error message will signal that. As a reminder the mandatory elements for a quiz to work properly are:
- At least one quiz question+ at least one answer +at least one analysis for that answer.
- The auto responder code.
- The URL is present in Step 5.3. of the quiz dashboard
If you don't want to use the validation check simply leave the box un-ticked and the system will allow you to save your work without any checks.
